Senior Engineer

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning and developing electrical systems for a
variety of projects, from concept through to completion. The role will require a deep understanding of
electrical design principles, technical knowledge, problem solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with
clients and team members to deliver high quality, efficient and compliant designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of electrical systems for building, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage multiple high-level projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior designers and engineers.
  • Prepare and oversee the development of detailed design drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD tools.
  • Ensure all designs meet regulatory, compliance, and safety standards.
  • Conduct thorough quality reviews of designs and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utility companies, clients, and contractors.

Design Draftsperson

The Design Draftsperson supports the Design Team by producing accurate and detailed technical drawings and
documentation for various projects under direct supervision. The role ensures that design concepts are translated
into compliant, constructible and practical drawings in accordance with relevant standards, client requirements
and project timelines. The position plays a key part in streamlining the design process, maintaining drawing quality
and consistency, and contributing to the successful delivery of engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams for basic projects under supervision. These include public lighting, Master Plans and stage designs.
  • Prepare communications designs for both NBN and Superloop projects under supervision
  • Assist in modifying standard electrical system designs, including power distribution and lighting, with guidance from senior staff
  • Assist in Earthing Assessment level 1 reports as per Powercor’s requirements, under supervision
  • Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD) to produce design documents, with oversight from senior staff

Engineer

The Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the design, planning, and documentation of electrical
systems across a range of projects, from concept through to completion. The role requires a solid
understanding of electrical design principles, strong attention to detail, and effective collaboration with
internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality, compliant designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design of electrical systems for building, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage multiple high-level projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Preparation of detailed design drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD tools.
  • Ensure all designs meet regulatory, compliance, and safety standards.
  • Conduct thorough quality reviews of designs and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utility companies, clients, and contractors.
  • Represent the organisation in client meetings, presenting technical concepts and proposals, where requested
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Stay informed about advancements in electrical design and relevant industry trends.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of design processes
